“Tumhaara Kalloo”(1975) was directed by Basu Bhattacharya for Aarohi Films Bombay. This movie had Kuldeep Bhagi, Kajri, Somnath Mukherji, Devendra Khandelwal, Manik Dutt, Urmila Devi, Shailly Shailendra, Dharmveer, Shubhra, Radheshyam Dixit, Bharat Bhushan, Nagardas Sharma, Mahesh Dubey, Jagdish Bansal, Shankar Shambhu, Ramkumar, Babban, Kamal, Ghanshyyam, Dulari, Anita Dutt etc in it.
The movie had two songs in it. One of them has been covered in the blog.
Here is the second and final song from “Tumhaara Kalloo”(1975) to appear in the blog. This song is sung by Krishna Dasgupta, though IFGK erroneously mentions Madan Chopra as the singer. Gyandev Agnihotri is the lyricist. Music is composed by Kanu Roy.
The earlier song from the movie , a qawwaali, was created by a different team of singers, lyricist and music director. So one can say that this movie with just two songs had two lyricists and two music directors, in addition to some half a dozen singers.
With this song, “Tumhaara Kalloo”(1975) joins the list of movies that have all their songs covered in the blog.
