“Garib”(1942) was directed by Ramchandra Thakur for National Studios, Bombay. This movie had Surendra, Rose, Baby Meena, Veena Kumari, Santaka, N A Ansari, Agha, Pesi Patel etc in it.
Four songs from this movie have been discussed in the past. Here is the fifth song song from “Garib”(1942) to appear in the blog. This song, a baadal song and therefore a topical song 🙂 , is sung by Surendra. Safdar Aah Sitapuri is the lyricist. Music is composed by Anil Biswas.
Only the audio of this song is available but it is clear that the song was picturised on Surendra himself.
The audio appear to have some missing portions, though most of the song is thankfully available and is reasonably audible.

Atul ji,
I checked the recording of this song from a couple of other sources. The song is intact and complete as presented. There is a very long interlude between the two stanzas – from 1:15 to 1:56. It gives an impression as if singing lines are too few. But that is how this song is designed.
Further this recording contains a piece of spurious extra music, from 3:00 to 3:20, which is not present in the other recordings that I have checked.
Just one correction to the lyrics – “mast hawaayen” is “madmast hawaayen”.
