“Nishaani”(1942) was produced and directed by Roop K Shorey for Shorey Pictures, Lahore. The movie had Majnu, Raagini, Rooplekha, M D Kanwar, Ghulam Qadir, K Singer, Rani, Mala, Ramesh, Jaan, Kapoor, Sharma etc in it.
This movie had ten songs in it. Four of these songs have been covered in the past. Here is the fifth song from “Nishaani”(1942) to appear in the blog. The song is sung by Shamshad Begam. Aziz Kashmiri is the lyricist. Music is composed by Pt Amarnath.
