“Zid”(1994) was produced by Pannalal Mehra and directed by Esmayeel Shroff. The movie had Jay Mehta, Rageshwari, Vinita Malik, Mala Sinha, Rajeev Varma, Rakesh Bedi, Mukesh Rawal, Mahavir Shah, Mahesh Bachchan, Jayshree Arora, Dinesh Hingoo, Birbal, Anuraag, Shyam Awasthi, Prakash Thakur, Balwant Bansal, Guddi Maruti etc in it.
This movie, which has ended up becoming an obscure movie, despite being a “recent” movie by the standards of this blog, had seven songs in it.
Here is the first song from “Zid”(1994) to appear in the blog. The song is sung by Md Aziz. O P Nayyar is the music director. Lyricist is not known.
Video of some songs from the movie are available. But looking at them, one can safely say that these songs are better heard than watched.
With this song, “Zid” (1994) makes its debut in the blog. This movie was chronologically the last Hindi movie for which O P Nayyar composed music. For this blog too, this is the last movie with O P Nayyar’s music that finds representation in the blog. In other words, now all movies with O P Nayyar’s music in them are represented in the blog.
