‘Basant Panchami-1956’ was directed by Jayant Desai for Hemlata Pictures. Jayant Desai was also the producer of this movie.
‘Basant Panchami-1956’ was a devotional movie. It had Nirupa Roy, Anant Kumar, Jeevan, S.N. Tripathi, Radhakishan, Yashodhara Katju, Niranjan Sharma, Kumkum, Babu Raje, Charubala, Anand Joshi, Sukumar, Dubey, Uma Dutt, Naazi, Shri Bhagwan and others.
This movie was passed by Censor Board on 24.07.1956.
‘Basant Panchami-1956’ has ten songs, all written by Kavi Pradeep. Music of this film was composed by Chitragupt.
