On this date ten years ago (23 June 2013), four songs from four different movies were covered in the blog.

We observe that one movie (out of four movies) whose songs were covered on this date ten years ago have since been YIPPEED. In fact, the true statement would be that one movie out of four got YIPPEED in the blog on this date ten years ago. Other three movies are still unYIPPEED ten years later.
One of the unYIPPEED movie is just one song short of getting YIPPEED.
That movie is “Tohfa”(1947).
“Tohfa”(1947) was directed by Aghajaani Kashmiri for Seth Brothers Productions, Bombay. The movie had Nawab, Veera, Anuradha, Rehman, Mishra, Basant Malini, T N Charlie, Agha Mirza, Masih, Shakuntala, Pushpa, Baby Janet, Anita etc in it.
The movie had ten songs in it. Nine songs from this movie have been discussed in the past.

We observe that Mukesh was the only male playback singer in the movie, whereas there were three female playback singers (Parul Ghosh, Hamida Bano and Geeta Roy (Later Dutt). There were only two duets (both by Mukesh-Hamida Bano). All other songs were solo songs.
There were six lyricists in the movie namely Nazeer Hyderabadi, Aghajaan Kashmiri, Aarzoo Lucknowi, Saqib Lucknowi, Shant Arora and Rafiq Ghaznavi .
Here is the ninth song from the movie. This song was sung by Parul Ghosh (described as Shrimati Ghosh in HFGK). Aghajaan Kashmiri is the lyricist. Music is composed by M A Rauf Osmania.
