Today’s song is from the movie ‘Alam Ara Ki Beti-1960’ which was directed by Nanubhai Vakil for ‘Desai Kalamandir, Bombay’. Moghabhai Desai was the producer of this movie. The cast of this movie had Naina, Maruti, Daljeet, Prakash, Kanchanmala, Jeevankala, Sadik, Tuntun, Munshi Munakka, Chandabai, Nazmi, Sashimala, M. Kumar, Nadir, Meharbanu, Razzaq, Pawan Kumar, Ismail Azad, Yusuf Azad Qawwaal and others. This movie was passed by Censor Board on 02.02.1960.
‘Alam Ara Ki Beti-1960’ has eight songs. There were written by Noor Dewasi(three songs) and Anwar Farrukhabadi(five songs). Music for this movie was composed by Bipin Dutt. The playback singers for this movie are Ismail Azad Qawwaal, Yusuf Azad Qawwaal, Suman Kalyanpur, Asha Bhonsle, Jaani Babu Qawwaal, and Sudha Malhotra.
