‘Bhakt Prahlad’ was directed by K P Bhave for Saraswati Cinetone, Poona (now Pune), directed by KP Bhave. The story was adapted from the traditional scriptures, by MG Rangnekar, and the screenplay was written by KP Bhave. The movie had Mohan Karve (child artist) playing the title role. We have been discussing the statistics of Hindi movie songs over the years and we have so far reached upto 1934. As a result of this analysis and follow up action (in the form of posting the balance available songs from those years), we now have posted almost all available songs from 1931 to 1933, with just two songs each from 1932 and 1933 still left.
