Majboor of 1948, a social musical film, was produced by Bombay talkies and directed by Nazir Ajmeri. The star-cast included Munavvar Sultana and Shyam, supported by Indu, Sohan Lal, Jagannath, Dar Kashmiri, Ganju, Shama Gulnar, Ameer Bano, Shivraj, Ram Shashtri, Lakshman Rao, Manto Bai etc. Ghulam Haider set the lilting music to the lyrics by Nazim Panipati.

So, Veena Kumari was the maker of this obscure movie and she had her fingers in many pies. She was the lead female playback singer in this movie as well.
