While I was busy checking up the details of Saif ali Khan whose birthday falls today(16 august), I came across the information that today is the birthday of Manisha Koirala too. I as well as the regular contributors had missed out on her birthday. It turns out that she was born on 16 july 1970, exactly on the same day and year that Saif Ali Khan was born. Could they be identical twins separated at birth, Hindi movie istyle ? 🙂 Not likely, because such separation at birth happens only in non royal families (viz. Pran and Nirupa Roy, for instance:) ). By late 1980s, R D Burman was struggling to get assignments, because Bappi Lahiri and Anu Malik kind of music had invaded the Bollywood music scene. And R D Burman died a rather unsung death in 1991, as limelight had deserted him by that time.
