“Baadal Aur Bijli” (1956) was a B grade movie produced under the banner of Artists United. The movie was directed by Maurice. The movie had Ameeta, Manhar Desai, M Kumar, Yashodara Katju, Manorama etc in it.

A wonderful lost melody from another lesser known obscure film. This lovely song is from the 1956 film ‘Baadal Aur Bijli’. Another film, about which I have no information other than the contents of Geet Kosh. It is a stunt film produced under the banner of Artists United, Bombay. The producers of this film are Fore X-Maurice, Akbar, Asgar and Haider. (Now if that is not a very strange name combination, then what is?? 🙂 ). And the directors name is listed as Maurice, supposedly the first name in the producers list also. The star cast of this film includes Kumar, Ameeta, Yashodhara, Manorama, Hira Sawant, Manhar, Anwar, Sheikh, Rajan Haksar, Habib, Amrit Rana, Yashwant Raj, Ravi, Hanuman, Azim etc.
