“Do Khilaadi”(1976) was produced and directed by Jugal Kishore for Jugal Productions, Bombay. This “social” movie had Vinod Mehra, Zahira, Jaishree T, Paintal, Indrani Mukherji, Anita Guha, Mohan sherry, Shetty, Jugal Kishore, Shashi Puri (new discovery), Naaz, Jezebel, Johny Babu Qawwal, Hercules, Kumud Tripathi, Uma Khosla, Ratna, Brijendar Mohan, Baby Anuradha, Uttam Sodhi, Ram Mohan, Gurbachan Singh, Gauri Verma, Tuntun, Omi Chopra etc in it.

Another wonderful song, actually a qawwaali, that I discovered recently to be composed by Usha Khanna. The singer of this qawwaali is Jaani Baabu Qawwaal. When I had heard this qawwaali many year ago, and associating the name of Jaani Baabu with it, I had presumed this to be non-film offering, since Jaani Baabu is a professional mainstream qawwaali singer. Only recently, as I was selecting songs composed by Usha Khanna, for posting on this blog, I came across once again this wonderful qawwaali on YouTube, and then realized that it is actually from the film Do Khilaadi (1976).

Today is the day of Rakhi festival, when sisters tie rakhi on the wrist of their brothers. It is assumed that every sister has a brother and vice versa. But that cannot be the case all the time. Just spare a thought for those men who do not have sisters !
