Coming to the end of the decade, his popularity continued to be on the rise and continued with a busy stint year on year. The Mukesh Geet Kosh information records that he has rendered 37 songs in 1948, 30 songs in 1949 and 36 songs in 1950. In the year 1950, he sung his 36 songs for 16 films.
