Every 23rd January we pay our tributes to the great visionary, a courageous and brave leader of our freedom struggle Netaji Subhashchandra Bose.

All of us are aware of his biographical details and details about his fight for the freedom of people of India and how he led his own fight in the way he thought was the best way to deal with the ‘British Empire’ then.

In one of my earlier posts on the blog here we have also discussed about the various movies based on the life of Netaji Subhashchandra Bose.

Today (23 january 2017) is the 120th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose (Dob-23 january 1897).

Lots and lots have been written and said about Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose over the decades. We in this blog have also written about him. In fact, I too have written about him in this blog durng his earlier birth anniversaries.

Most of us were born in Independent India and we grew up reading about the Independence movement in our textbooks and other publications. These publications informed us that the non violent movement for independence moved the rulers. They saw the errors of their ways and peacefully quit India.

Today (23 january 2014) is the 117th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. His contribution in fighting for the freedom of the nation was second to none, even if his contributions towards the freedom struggle have not received as much prominence as it should have. Reading his biography never fails to inspire one.
