Atul’s Song A Day- A choice collection of Hindi Film & Non-Film Songs

Tu is tarah se meri zindagi me shaamil hai

Posted on: January 1, 2009

“Aap To Aise Na The” (1980) was a small budget movie with new actors viz Deepak Parashar and Raj Babbar and the seasoned Ranjeeta. What I remember the most about this movie was its radio advertisement on Vividh Bharati, where this song “tu is tarah se meri zindagi me shaamil hai” was played repeatedly.

This song has not one or two versions, but as many as three versions. Rafi sings for Deepak Parashar, Manhar Udhas sings for Raj Babbar and Hemlata sings for Ranjeeta. Different people like different versions. PersonallyI love Rafi’s version , though the other two versions are very good on their own rights.

Lyrics are written by Nida Fazli, whereas Usha Khanna is the music director.

Song-Tu is tarah se meri zindagi me shaamil hai (Aap to aise naa the) (1980) Singer-Rafi/Manhar/Hemlata, Lyrics-Nida Fazli, MD-Usha Khanna

Rafi version

tu is tarah se meri zindagi mein shaamil hai
tu is tarah se meri zindagi mein shaamil hai
jahaan bhi jaaun ye lagataa hai, teri mahfil hai
tu is tarah se meri zindagi mein shaamil hai

tere bagair jahaan mein koyi kami si thi
tere bagair jahaan mein koyi kami si thi
bhatak rahi thi jawaani andheri raahon mein
sukoon dil ko milaa aa ke teri baahon mein
main ek khoyi huyi mauj hoon tu saahil hai,
jahaan bhi jaaun ye lagataa hai, teri mahfil hai
tuu is tarah se meri zindagi mein shaamil hai

tere jamaal se roshan hai kaaynaat meri
tere jamaal se roshan hai kaaynaat meri
meri talaash teri dilkashi rahe baaki
khudaa kare ke ye deewaangi rahe baaki
teri wafaa hi meri har khushi kaa haasil hai,
jahaan bhi jaaun ye lagataa hai, teri mahfil hai
tu is tarah se meri zindagi mein shaamil hai

ye aasmaan ye baadal ye raaste ye hawaa
ye aasmaan ye baadal ye raaste ye hawaa
har ek cheez hai apni jagah thikaane se
kayi dinon se shikaayat nahin zamaane se
ye zindagi hai safar tu safar ki manzil hai,
jahaan bhi jaaun ye lagtaa hai, teri mahfil hai
tu is tarah se meri zindagi mein shaamil hai

har ek shay hai muhabbat ke noor se roshan
ye roshni jo naa ho zindagi adhoori hai
raah-e-wafaa mein koyi hamsafar zaroori hai

Aah !!!
One of my favourites from the last 30 years..as you well know.
I can listen to this song (any of its versions) any number of times without getting bored.
Although I like the Rafi version a lot, my favourite is the Manhar version. And certainly if I have to watch the video, I would like not to have to watch Deepak Parasher. 🙂

What do you mean, Raja ? I thought Deepak Parashar was going to be the next Amitabh Bachchan. 😉

hi atul
what a thought abt deepak parasher! my god!!! wasn’t it bad enough to tolerate this dead pan jodi– raj babbar & deepak parasher
any way thanks for all the 3 versions. weren’t they the top of binaca geet mala that year.
oh to have binaca geet mala again!

Hi everybody,
can anybody write the meaning of this beautiful line by line. my hindi is a little poor.

this song is my soul, it takes me to another world which no one can imagine.

nice song. manhar sing a lovely song!

I am a great fan of Hemlata. She is simply the best in her every songs.

This song nothing but magic of rafi’s voice sol I ike this.

beautiful song as urdu at its best 🙂

No doubt because of Rafi’s version two other versions become popular too.

another picturised version-Singer:Rafi
Differently picturised version(Climax version)
(the lyrics are same except Last one line with slight variation)
ye aasmaan ye baadal ye raaste ye hawaa
har ek cheez hai apni jagah thikaane se
kayee dinon se shikaayat nahin zamaane se ae
ye zindagi hai safar
AUR SAFAR HI manzil hai

Prakashchandra ji,

Thank you for the slow last version of this song. imaginatively picturized too ‘ as ships passing in the sea ‘ .

According to imdb the release date is 05/12/1980, and director is Ambrish sangal. Names of script and story writer are not given.

And congratulations on 800+ lyrics contributions.

Thank you nahm ji

regards
Prakash
