“Nurse” (1943), also known as CHHOTI MAA, was directed by Chaturbhuj Doshi for of Ranjit Movietone, Bombay. The movie had Khursheed, Arun Ahuja, Prabha, Anil Kumar, Indira, Sheikh etc. in it.

NURSE (1943), also known as CHHOTI MAA, was produced under the banner of Ranjit Movietone and it was directed by Chaturbhuj Doshi. The star cast included Khursheed, Arun Ahuja, Prabha, Anil Kumar, Indira, Sheikh etc. From the title of the film, I thought that it was a heroine oriented film. But after reading the synopsis of the film given by Shri Arunkumar Deshmukh as comments in one of the songs of the film, it was clear that it was more of a family drama than the story on the life of a nurse.
