As far as Bollywood music lovers are concerned, most of them like songs that are “light” in nature, rather than the heavy duty stuff (viz classical music based). But there are classical music based songs that are so nicely created that one loves to listen to such songs.

Not much is known about this movie called “Detective” (1958) except that it was a movie starring Pradeep Kumar and Mala Sinha. Searching for more information may yield the additional information that it was a suspense thriller directed by Shakti Samant.

In Bollywood movies, music directors tended to create songs based on the range and singing ability of the singers. Singers with lesser range and lesser singing abilities got simpler songs to sing, whereas singers with greater skills were often asked to sing difficult songs.
