It may be difficult to imagine today, but villains like Premnath and Ajit started their filmy careers as heroes in late 1940s-early 1950s, and they in fact acted as heroes for almost a decade before becoming villains. As far as Premnath was concerned, he was a hero in A grade movies too.

“Raag rang” (1952) is one movie about which very little is known today. The only thing that I know about this movie is that it had music by Roshan and that Geeta Bali was the lead actress in this movie.

What is the way to win a person over ? By treating him/ her well. Musically, it means making him/her listen to music that is soothing/ pleasing to the senses. Creators of music need not impress the listeners by their ability to create great music with impressive orchestra. The listeners gets impressed more when he gets so involved in the song that he begins to visualise the imagery alluded to in the song.
