Kishore Kumar is known for his cheerful disposition. He mostly acted in comical roles. As a singer, he is often associated with cheerful songs.
But when he produced movies, he produced serious movies ( exception being his first procuction viz “chalti ka naam gaadi”) where he sang serios songs.
“Jhumroo” was one such movie where he sang some wonderfully serious songs. Incidentally, Kishore Kumar wore many hats in this movie. He not only sang and acted in this movie, he was also the maker of this movie. He was the music director of this movie as well.

Forgot to talk about the song :).. one of my favourite Kishore songs and pretty nostalgic for me as i used to listen to this a lot growing up :).

A movie that had so many songs and most of them were really good songs. Kishore Kumar sure was an all rounder and did such a good job of the music direction for this movie apart from every other hat he wore for this movie :).
Again, very surprising to see that a post that was posted way back in Mar 2009 has not had even one comment so far :). Wonder how many songs i will find that have not been commented on :).
