Tere sau deewaane

Few people have heard the name of this movie and fewer people may have heard this song, but that was not the case all the time. During 1973, this song “tere sau deewaane” used to be quite a popular song.
This song is sung by Kishore Kumar, written by Anand Bakshi and composed by R D Burman. The song is an awesome song to listen to. I have used the word “divine” quite a few times while discusing the voice of Rafi. This time I feel that Kishore Kumar’s voice does sound divine in this song.
The song is picturised on Dev Anand and on a heroine half his age viz Hema Malini.
Song-Tere sau deewaane (Shareef Badmaash) (1973) Singer-Kishore Kumar, Lyrics-Anand Bakshi, MD-R D Burman
Lyrics
tere sau deewaane jhoothe parwaane
ho tere sau deewaane jhoothe parwaane
ho ik teraa sachchaa aashiq hoon main
maane yaa tu naa maane re
tere sau deewaane jhoothe parwaane
ho ik teraa sachchaa aashiq hoon main
maane yaa tu naa maane re
tere sau deewaane jhoothe parwaane
chhod jaayenge dil tod jaayenge
ye beqadar yaar mushkil mein
chhod jaayenge dil tod jaayenge
ye beqadar yaar mushkil mein
itnaa kar yaqeen kho na jaayen kahin
raste hain anjaane
maane yaa tu naa maane re
tere sau deewaane jhoothe parwaane
aaj hain yahaan kal aur kahin haan
inki kuchh aisi hi aadat hai
aaj hain yahaan kal aur kahin haan
inki kuchh aisi hi aadat hai
dil masal denge ye pi ke chal denge ye
aankhon ke paimaane
maane yaa tu naa maane re
tere sau deewaane jhoothe parwaane
ho ik teraa sachchaa aashiq hoon main
maane yaa tu naa maane re
tere sau deewaane jhoothe parwaane
