I tend to know only a few popular songs from most movies. As a result, I often miss out on knowing about some very fine songs, just because they were lesser known songs from their movies.
“The Train” (1970) was a Rajesh Khanna movie with some nice music. I am aware of the more popular songs from this movie and I have posted them in this blog too.
I was not aware of this less known song from this movie. I listened to this song for the first time only today. And I liked this song. I am sure this song will grow on me as I listen to this song a few more times.
This song is sung by Lata and picturised on Nanda. Anand Bakshi wrote the song and R D Burman composed the music.

Wow, one of those songs, where one wonders – “Aah, I used to listen to this song so many times when I was young”. Thanks Atul for reminding me of this nice number, I had no clue it was from a movie called THE TRAIN :).

Lovely number. Now if only Nanda had sported a different hairstyle the picturization would’ve been perfect 🙂 The entire soundtrack of ‘The Train’ was brilliant including the background score as Memsaab noted in her review. Thanks Atul.
