I had never heard about this movie called “Shokhiyaan” (1951) and I was not aware of this song till recently.
This song is sung by Suraiyya and so naturally the song was picturised on herself. Kidar Sharma is the lyricist and music is composed by Jamal Sen.
This song is one of those forgotten gems that I keep finding almost on a daily basis.
There are a few words in the lyrics where I am not sure. I request my readers to provide the correct/missing words in the lyrics.
