Lyrics(Provided by Atif M)
aankhon aankhon mein na jaane
kya ishaare ho gaye
muskura kar tum ne dekha
hum tumhaare ho gaye
aankhon aankhon mein na jaane
aa aa aa aa
aaa aaa
raat din ki beqaraari
umr bhar ki bekhudi
ee
raat din ki beqaraari
umr bhar ki bekhudi
ee
dil laga kar kuchh to jeene
ke sahaare ho gaye
aankhon aankhon mein na jaane
haaye yeh maasoom chehra
yeh ada yeh baankpan
haaye yeh maasoom chehra
yeh ada yeh baankpan
tum se mil ke rang dil ke
aur pyaare ho gaye
aankhon aankhon mein na jaane
tum ko paa kar is jahaan mein
hum ne sab kuchh paa liya
tum ko paa kar is jahaan mein
hum ne sab kuchh paa liya
ab hamein kya chaahiye
jab tum hamaare ho gaye
muskura kar tum ne dekha
hum tumhaare ho gaye
aankhon aankhon mein na jaane

Atul ji,
BEDAAG-1965 was an A.R.Productions film produced by Anup Sharma and directed by R.Bhattacharya.
This is a film of mid 60s.That time Christeen keeler’s case in U.K. was shaking the world and the problem of extra marital or pre marital sex was being discussed all over the world, including India. In U.K. although 90% of 3 million people surveyed, had said that pre or extra marital sex has no connection with Marriage.,However in India this was not accepted where every girl is supposed to be a Seeta Mai !
This film is based on this theme only.
Jwalaprasad(Raj Mehra) and Mrs.Jwalaprasad(Lalita Pawar) had brought up their daughter Lata(Shashikala) in an Ultra modern way.Lata does not see eye to eye with Manju(Nanda),her neighbour and collegemate. They both love Rajesh(Manoj Kumar),who in turn loves Manju and ignores Lata.Lata is pregnant with somebody.
Manju’s father is involved in a false case where he has to raise 50000 rupees immediately to come out safely. To save her father,Manju takes the blame of giving birth to Lata’s child,in exchange of Rs.50000/-.
She saves her father but at the cost of her reputation and love of Rajesh.
The story gets absurd and very melodramatic hereafter.Luckily Mehmood(Ghanashyam) and Shubha Khote(Shobha) give some relief as a ” House Husband” of an earning wife.
As expected,Lata is finally exposed,Manju is exonerated and Rajesh gets a BEDAAG wife.
