“Izzat” (1968) was a Pushpa Pictures production movie. It was directed by T Prakash Rao. The movie had Dharmendra, Tanuja, Balraj Sahni, Jaylalita, Manmohan Krishna, Laxmi Chhaya, Devika, Mukri, Anant Kumar, Mehmood, Johnny Walker, Lalita Pawar, Tiwari, David Abraham etc in it.
AS many as four songs from this movie have been discussed in the past. Here is the fifth song from this movie. I recall listening to this song a few times and forgetting this song immediately thereafter. It must be after more than four decades that I have heard this song again.
This song is sung by Manna Dey. Sahir Ludhianvi is the lyricist. Music is composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal. The song is picturised on Mehmood. It is a rare song and what a gem of a song !

thanks Atul ji for this post! also i would request you to correct the typo in the line “this song is picturised on…” wherein it shows as Manna Dey, instead of MEHMOOD.
