“Halaaku” (1956) was an All India Pictures production. It was produced by P N Arora and D D Kashyap, with the latter directing the movie as well. The movie had Ajit, Meena Kumari, Pran, Minu Mumtaz, Veena, Sunder, Helen, Niranjan Sharma, Raj Mehra, Shammi etc in it.
As many as seven songs from this movie have been discussed in the past. Here is the eighth song from the movie.
This song is sung by Lata. Shailendra is the lyricist. Music is composed by Shankar Jaikishan.
Only the audio of this song is available but it seems almost certain that the song was picturised on Meena Kumari as was the case with other Lata songs in this movie.
Lyrics of this song were sent to me by Atif M.
Song-Teri duniya se jaate hain chhupaaye dil mein gham apna (Halaaku)(1956) Singer-Lata, Lyrics-Shailendra, MD-Shankar Jaikishan
Lyrics(Provided by Atif M)
teri duniya se jaate hain
chhupaaye dil mein gham apna
liye jaate hain aankhon mein
kisi ke pyaar ka sapna
teri duniya se jaate hain
chhupaaye dil mein gham apna
saaz-e-dil pe kabhi hum ne
mil ke gaaye thhe jo naghme
aa aa aa aa
aa aa aa aa
saaz-e-dil pe kabhi hum ne
mil ke gaaye thhe jo naghme
unhen tum bhool hi jaana
hamein bhi yaad mat karna
teri duniya se jaate hain
chhupaaye dil mein gham apna
gham ke toofaan ka saaya
har ghadi thha sar pe chhaaya
aa aa aa aa
aa aa aa aa
gham ke toofaan ka saaya
har ghadi thha sar pe chhaaya
kaise mumkin thha aise mein
shama-e-pyaar ka jalna
teri duniya se jaate hain
chhupaaye dil mein gham apna
teri duniya se jaate hain

I have read in a comment on this song at http://youtu.be/KX6G0awMo0Y that this song was not included in the film. Only its interlude music can be heard in the film.
