“Darbaar” (1955) was a Golden Movie production. It was directed by V Vakil. The movie had Mahipal, Chitra, Sunder, Tiwari, Kammo, Kamal, Niranjan Sharma etc in it, which suggests that it was a B grade movie.
Four songs from this movie have been discussed in the past. Here is the fifth song from the movie. It is sung by Geeta Dutt and Talat Mehmood. This movie had two lyricists in it, viz Prem Dhawan and Asad Bhopali, but it is not clear who wrote this song. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the lyricist of this song.
