“Dulha Dulhan” (1964) was a Nagina Films production. It was directed by Ravindra Dave. The movie had Raj Kapoor, Sadhana, Agha, Raj Mehra, Vishwa Mehra, Anwar Bai, K N Singh, Mridula, Madhumati etc in it.
“Dulha Dulhan” (1964) had eight songs in it. Seven of these songs have been discussd in the past. Here is the eighth and final song from the movie. This song is perhaps the least known song from this movie. I became aware of this song only because I went through the list of songs of this movie a few hours ago.
This song is a delightful song like the other songs from the movie.
The song is sung by Lata and Kamal Barot. The song is picturised on Sadhana and another lady whom I am unable to identify. I request our knowledgeable readers to help identify her.
Anand Bakshi is the lyricist. Music is composed by Kalyanji Anandji. Those were the days of Shankar Jaikishan and it must be said that the music of Kalyanji Anandji sounds very much like Shankar Jaikishan’s music in all the songs of this movie. If one is not aware, one may guess Shankar Jaikishan to be the music director of this movie.
With this song, “Dulha Dulhan” (1964) joins the list of movies that have all their songs covered in the blog.

Lyrics
Piya khinche huye bandhe huye chale aayenge
piya khinche huye bandhe huye chale aayenge
aahon mein asar to zara hone do
shuru dard e jigar to zara hone do
piya khinche huye bandhe huye chale aayenge
piya khinche huye bandhe huye chale aayenge
o o o o
karke sau sau bahaane ae ae
o o o
aayenge wo manaane
hamaare roothhne ki
aji dil tootne ki
o hamaare roothhne ki
aji dil tootne ki
?? khabar to zara hone do
piya khinche huye bandhe huye chale aayenge
piya khinche huye bandhe huye chale aayenge
o o o
kyaa shiqaayat se hoga aaa aaa
o o o o
sab muhabbat se hoga
abhi hai pyaar yahaan
ye nahin pahuncha wahaan
o abhi hai pyaar yahaan
ye nahin pahuncha wahaan
aji poora safar to zara hone to
piya khinche huye bandhe huye chale aayenge
piya khinche huye bandhe huye chale aayenge
ho o o o
neend aayegi kaise ae ae
o o o o
wo bhi jaagenge aise
kahe jo haal yahaan
yahi phir hoga wahaan
ho kahe jo haal yahaan
yahi phir hoga wahaan
jo idhar hai
udhar to zara hone do
piya khinche huye bandhe huye chale aayenge
piya khinche huye bandhe huye chale aayenge
aahon mein asar to zara hona do
shuru dard e jigar to zara hone do
piya khinche huye bandhe huye chale aayenge
piya khinche huye bandhe huye chale aayenge

Atulji,
Thanks for the song.
One of those movies in which Mukesh completely dominated the songs. Out of 8 he has 3 soulful solos and 3 duets.
Interestingly, Laxmikant Pyarelalji were the Assistant Music Directors for this film.
