Here is another song from the movie. This song is a stage song where Rishi Kapoor and Paintal are dressed as girls among other girls like Neetu Singh and others.
In this song Neetu Singh lip syncs in Kanchan’s voice and Rishi Kapoor in Usha Mangeshkar’s voice. Paointal is picturised mainly as an instrumentalist and he get to utter a few words in the song as well. Rajendranath and Asrani are also visible in the picturisation.

dil se bhi badhke hai
yaar jisse kehte hain
haan haan yaar jisse kehte hain
pyaar se badhke
kyaa duniyaa mein
pyaar se badhke
kyaa duniyaa mein
kyun duniyaa naa jaane
parwaane se seekh le jalnaa
pyaar mein o deewaane
issi liye hum toh dil de baithhe
haan issi liye hum toh dil de baithhe de baithhe
waaav waaav

pyaar agar jurm hai toh
jurm sabhi ye karnaa

hey duniyaa se kyaa darnaa
aissa bhi koyee
hai ke jissne

pyaar kiyaa naa hogaa
dil dene aur dil lene kaa
mazaa liyaa naa hogaa
issi liye hum toh dil de baithhe
haan issi liye hum toh dil de baithhe de baithhe
dil denaa buri balaa hai
buri balaa hai sabne kahaa hai

‘Rafoo Chakkar’ was based on ‘Some Like it Hot’ starring Marilyn Monroe, Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon. But this was a case of the copy being as enjoyable as the original. Rishi Kapoor and Paintal looked so fetching in drag! Rishi Kapoor gave Neetu Singh a run for her money! And, as mentioned by Thandapani, what would be ‘Rafoo Chakkar’ without that iconic, thoroughly hilarious ‘Chuk chuk chuk chuk Bombay se Baroda thak…..’ ‘train song’?! Many many happy returns of the day, Paintalji!

I watched Rafoo chakkar mainly for the the iconic train song – Dil kar dhak dhak wala. This one is also superb.
Oh yes, it is Paintal’s birthday today.
Happy Birthday Paintal 🙂
