“Kangan”(1972) was directed by K B Tilak for Vikas Chiyra, Bombay. The movie had Ashok Kumar, Mala sinha, sanjeev Kumar, Mehmood, shyama, Aruna Irani, Jeewan, Asit Sen, Leela Mishra, Chandrima Bhaduri, Mridula, Sadhana Khote, Chamki, Irshad Panjtan, Babban Lal, Pal Sharma etc in it.
The movie had four songs in it. Three songs from the movie have been covered in the blog.
Here is the fourth snd final song from “Kangan”(1972) to appear in the blog. This song is sung by Rafi, preceded by a few words uttered by Mehmood. Verma Malik is the lyricist. Music is composed by Kalyanji Anandji,
The pcturisation shows a tyre of a bus getting punctured. While the tyre is being replaced, the passengers alight from the train and this song ensues, which is lip synced by Mehmood in Rafi’s voice.
This song came in the same year as “Bombay To Goa”(1972) which also had Mehmood and a bus. That could be just a coincidence, of course.
With this song, “Kangan”(1972) joins the list of movies that have all their songs covered in the blog.
