Yes, it is a story of every day – a song plays and memories come by. Or sometimes, memories passing thru remind of a song that is so very dear to the heart. That is all that remains now – memories and songs playing hide and seek in the dimly lit bylanes of the mind.

The next song in this series comes from the 1976 film ‘Ladki Bholi Bhaali’. And incidentally this film is also making its debut on the blog today. That makes it three in a row today – 🙂 🙂 .
The film was directed by Ashok Roy for Mahesh Chitra, Bombay. The star cast listed for the film is Asha Sachdev, Gautam Sarin, Junior Mehmood, Ramesh Dev, Tarun Ghosh, Anita Guha, Ranveer Raj, Ram Mohan, Lalita Chatterjee, Rupali, Darshan, Krishan Duggal, Baldev Trehan, Manik Dutt, Master Devanand, Heena Kausar, Rakesh Pandey, Snehlata, Bharat Bhushan, and Dheeraj etc.
The film has music by Usha Khanna. Geet Kosh lists four songs for this film, three of which are from the pen of Hasrat Jaipuri. All those three songs are solos in the voice of Asha Bhosle. The fourth song, which is the song presented today, is a duet in the voice of Rafi Sb and Usha Khanna herself. And it is written by Saawan Kumar Tak.
Saawan Kumar has had a good partnership with Usha Khanna. Usha ji has given music to 11 films which have either been directed by Saawan Kumar, or he has written lyrics for them. They were married, but the matrimonial relationship did not last for long. Together they have created such popular hits like “Barkha Rani, Zara Jam Ke Barso“, “Wo Jidhar Dekh Rahe Hain, Sab Udhar Dekh Rahe Hain” (both from ‘Sabak’, 1973) “Teri Galiyon Mein Na Rakhenge Kadam. . .“, (‘Hawas’, 1974), “Sar e Mehfil Mera Imaan Beimaan Ho Gaya” (‘Ab Kya Hoga’, 1977), “Shaayad Meri Shaadi Ka Khyaal. . .“, “Zindagi Pyaar Ka Geet Hai” (both from ‘Souten’, 1983). (I am surprised that this last mentioned song is still waiting to come on board.)
Coming to today’s song, it is picturized on Rakesh Pandey and Asha Sachdev Snehlata, with Gautam Sarin also present in the scene and also lip-syncing some lines. I have not yet seen the film, and so the situation is not clear to me. I request other friends and readers who may have seen this film, to add some background information about the situation in this song.

Also that girl looks like Snehalata not Asha Sachdev. Please check if I am right in recognising the lady.

Some YT links are like that. They require that the video should be seen in YT page. You have to click the link once more and the song will open in YT.

You are most likely correct in identifying the actress. I was not sure, however I made a presumption, which is incorrect.
