Today’s song is from the film Mahapooja aka Shri Satyanarayan Katha-1954.

Shri Satyanarayan is not an avatar of Vishnu. It is a form of Maha Vishnu. Now I find that this duet is yet to be discussed in the blog. The reason for my erroneous assumption was that some time back our dear Sudhir had taken up the mission of posting Mukesh songs pertaining to 1940s.
