I was aware of “Lalkaar” (1956) and “Lalkaar”(1972). It turns out that a movie with the same title was released in 1944 as well.

Today (8 september 2014) is the 81st birth anniversary of Asha Bhonsle (born 8 september 1933). Younger sister of a legend, she is no less a legend herself. And she in fact hols the world record for recording the highest number of songs.
