There is very little known about this movie called “Bedardi” (1951). I only know this much about this movie that it had actors like Nimmi, Geeta Bali, Jeewan, Jaswant (?), Amirbai Karnataki, I C Kapoor etc in it.
This movie is obscure and the same can be said about its music as well, but the songs of this movie are nice songs to listen to.

“Shabistaan” (1951) was an Arabian Nights kind of fantasy movie. Such kind of movie were then regarded as B grade movie. “Stunt” movie was another name for such movies because these movies had lots of fights in them. In fact, Shyam, the hero of this movie, died on the stage of this movie while performing a stunt. He was riding a horse when he fell from the horse and died. To this date, this is regarded as one of the major disasters on the sets of Hindi movies.

“Albela”(1951) was the biggest hit of Bhagwan’s career. It was the first time he made an A grade movie and reaped rich dividends. It is another matter that he could not capitalise on this success and soon he was back to making B grade movies again, in addition to acting as a comedian.
