Today 25th May’2022 is Remembrance Day of actor Sunil Dutt (born as Balraj Dutt, 6 June 1929 — 25 May 2005).
Sunil Dutt was active in ‘films’ around us when I was growing up in seventies. I remember to have watched his ‘black & white’ movies like ‘Ek Phool Chaar Kaante’, ‘Main Chup Rahoongi’, ‘Beti Bete’, ‘Gaban’, and movies like ‘Padosan’ and ‘Reshma Aur Shera’ in our colony club when I was a child. I do not remember correctly but I think I had also watched his ‘Post Box no.999’ as well.

Hullo to Atuldom
Today we wish the smart handsome light-eyed actor, producer, director, screen writer and editor Rakesh Roshan on his 70th birthday with lots of health and happiness- discovered as I sat to write this that he is also a cancer conqueror. Very heart-warming to learn that.
We all know that he started at a rather young age in the film industry as an assistant to Mohan Kumar during the making of “Anjaana” due to the untimely death of his father – Roshanlal Nagrath; the music director of “Baawre Nain” fame “Roshan”. (I don’t intend to list Roshan’s albums here).

The movie had Vinod Khanna, Bharati Vishnuvardhan(aka Bharati of South),Ashok Kumar, Helen, Sunder, Aruna Irani, Shiv Kumar, Bipin Gupta, Chandrashekhar, K.N.Singh, Jalal Agha, Jagdish Sethi, N.A.Ansari, Sulochana Chatterjee, Jagdish Raj, Tarun Bose, Tuntun etc in it.
