During Rajesh Khanna’s heydays, it was Kishore Kumar who was the playback singer for most of the songs picturised on him. But there were a few exceptions, too.

“Mehboob ki Mehandi” was a Rajesh Khanna movie of 1971. It had lyrics by Anand Bakshi and music by Laxmikant Pyarelal. So one can guess that this movie must have some lilting music. And indeed that is how it was.
