“Mehboob Ki Mehandi” (1971) was produced and directed by H S Rawail. The movie had Rajesh Khanna, Leena Chandavarkar, Pradeep Kumar, Manorama, Kamal Kapoor, Jagdish Raaj, Sunder, Paro, Iftekhar, Madhumati etc in it.
The movie was a musical blockbuster. There were seven songs in the movie and each one of them was a treat to the ears and the eyes.

Here is the seventh and final song from the movie. This song is sung by Lata, Hemlata and chorus. Anand Bakshi is the lyricist. Music is composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal.
The song is picturised as a pre wedding song where the sahelis of Leena Chandawarkar sing this “mehandi” song. I am unable to identify the ladies who feature in this song though I suspect that one of them could be Madhumati. I request our knowledgeable readers to help identify them.
