“Night in London” (1967) is a movie that was clearly inspired from “An Evening in Paris” (1966). “Night in Paris” (1967) had Vishwajeet and Mala Sinha (as against Shammi Kapoor and Sharmila Tagore in “An Evening in Paris”). On the music front, “Night in London” had the fast rising Laxmikant Pyarelal.

If there was a Shammi Kapoor starrer called “an Evening in Paris” (1966) then the me too producers could be counted upon to come up with a product with similar sounding title. And they came up with “Night in London” (1967) starring Vishwajeet (poor man’s Shammi Kapoor) and Mala Sinha.

If Shammi Kapoor could act in “An Evening in Paris” then Vishwajeet could act in “Night in London”. If Shammi Kapoor’s movie could have lilting music by Shankar Jaikishan, then Vishwajeet movie would have the music of Laxmikant Pyarelal to match.
