‘Ham Kahaan Jaa Rahen Hain’ (1966) was produced under the banner of Filmistan Films and was directed by Nitin Bose. The cast included Badri Prasad in a pivotal role with Nadira, Rajan Haksar, debutants Prakash and Neena, Abhi Bhattacharya, Leela Chitnis, Jagirdar, P Kailash, Murad, Brahm Bhardwaj, Janakidas, Raj Kishore, Narbada Shankar, Master Raja, Master Prakash etc.

This day ten years ago (16 december 2010) was another productive day for the blog. As many as seven songs were covered that day. The first post was published at 7:54 whereas the final post of the day appeared at 9:41 AM.

Little is known about “Bikhre Phool”(1948). HFGK in fact has kept this movie in the appendix of part II opining that the movie appeared to be a movie of 1940s.

“For Ladies Only” (1951) was a Jaimini Dewan Production movie. It was directed by Vedi and the movie had Satish, Sadana Bose, Roopa Verman, Kuldeep Kaur etc in it.

I keep repeating ad infinitum that there are so many great songs lying all around as far as Hindi movie music is concerned. And these gems are not always the creation of well known music directors. Even lesser known and unsung composers have created great songs for which they received no recognition. worse, their creation was later used by other better known musicians as their own.
