Today’s song is a duet from the film Punarmilan-1940.
My favourite Marathi/Hindi/English author ISAQ MUJAWAR has written several – over 30 – books on Hindi and Marathi old films, people and related topics. One of his books in English is ” Maharashtra – The Birthplace of the Indian Film Industry”. This is a very rare book to find one. I have the original as well as its xerox copy. The original book was gifted to me by my Friend from Ahmedabad, Mr. P.S.Seshadri. He is an occasional visitor and commenter of this Blog.

“Punarmilan” (1964) was a Nagina Films pdoduction. It was directed by Ravindra Dave. The movie had Balraj Sahni, Shashikala, Amarnath, Jagdeep etc in it.
