When “Neki aur Badi” (1949), the first movie of Roshan as a music director flopped, the sensitive music director was so disappointed that he reportedly wanted to commit suicide. Many people may have noticed that the picturised versions of many songs are often different from their audio versions. One reason could be that the picturised version is often curtailed while editing the movie. But the main reason for the difference between picturised version and audio version is more technical. And this brand name first got recognition in 1950 with this movie.
