Here is a song from “Punar Milan” (1964). “Punar Milan” (1964) was a B grade movie and the makers of this movie saved money as far as hiring artists was concerned. Considering the talent available on the music scene, hiring talented out of work music director was not a problem, but hiring a lesser actor like Jagdeep as the hero of this movie proved counter productive.
This movie has fantastic songs, which are remembered to this day, but their picturisation on Jagdeep spoiled it totally for the movie. Jagdeep as hero could have been one of the main reasons why this movie bombed at the box office.
Here is a duet from this movie. It is sung by Rafi and Asha Bhonsle and it is picturised on Jagdeep and Ameeta. Gulshan Baawra is the lyricist and C Arjun composed the music.
C Arjun created some great music in this song, but the failure of this movie at the box office meant that C Arjun’s sterling performance in this movie went unrewarded.
The movie may have flopped but its songs are memorable. And I need to post the remaining songs of this movie as well, and I will definitely do that. And I thank Lalitha for the farmaish of this movie. The song is so good that I posted this song within a couple of hours of receiving this farmaish.

Thanks for the song, Atul! All I can say about it after watching the video is that the audio is great! Poor Jagdeep, he looks better suited to comedy than to the role of a romantic hero. What a pity!
