The lyrics of this song has been provided by Atif M, a new reader of this blog and a fellow enthusiast of Hindi movies and their songs.
Here is another song that I had never heard before !
This song is from the movie called “Jab Yaad Kisi Ki Aati Hai” (1967). Personally I keep confusing between this title and the title “Jab Pyaar Kisi Se Hota hai” (1961). Two songs from “Jab Pyaar Kisi Se Hota Hai” (1961) have been discussed in this blog in the past, but the movie “Jab Yaad Kisi Ki Aati Hai” (1967) had yet to open its account in this blog, mainly because of the fact that I thought the two titles to be one and the same.
But now that Atif M has sent me the lyrics of this song along with the details, now I stand corrected and hopefully now I will be able to differentiate between the two movies.
The movie JYKKAH (1967) had Dharmendra and Mala Sinha in lead roles whereas JPKSHH(1961) had Dev Anand and Asha Parekh in it.
This song from JYKKAH(1967) is a romantic song sung by Mahendra Kapoor. The song is picturised on Dharmendra and Mala Sinha. Mala Sinha is seen hiding from Dharmendra throughout the song while seeking to tease him by throwing pebbles at him. all this while Dharmendra is busy singing this romantic song addressed to his beloved which i presume is none other than Mala Sinha.
The song is picturised on the backdrop of snowcapped mountains of Himalayas, and that makes for a nice viewing, in addition to a nice listening.
The song is written by Raja Mehdi ali Khan. Music is composed by Madan Mohan. the music sounds somewhat similar to “Dil Ne Phir Yaad Kiyaa” (1966), which had music by Sonik Omi, and that makes me guess that Sonik Omi were the assistants to Madan Mohan in this movie “JYKKAH”(1967). Of course, I may be wrong.

oh at a lovely song. i am surprised that atul hasn’t heard of this movie before. there is a title song in this movie which personally speaking i don’t like because Lata mangeshkar just screeches. i suggest atul hear it and make his own opinion. also i don’t know if it comes along with the titles
