Today (27th july) is the death anniversary of Amjad Khan. It was on this day that Amjad Khan had died in 1992 at a young age of 51.
Amjad Khan mostly played a villain, and later he was seen in comedy roles as well. As a result, we do not have too many songs picturised on him. But there are a few songs where he gets to lip sync.
Here is a song from “Heeralal Pannalal” (1978). The song is a villain’s den song which is sung by R D Burman, Asha Bhonsle and chorus. It is picturised on Amjad Khan, Zeenat Aman and several others including Jezbel, Ajit, Ranjeet, Prem Nath etc.
Majrooh Sultanpuri is the lyricist. Music is composed by R D Burman.

yes i was going to send the Hemant Kumar version long ago but i know for a fact that atul has a long stock of songs and whatever occassion he has a song for it.
hence i stopped sending any song and only rad now a days

There is a second version of this song, sung by Hemant Kumar (not exactly sure but this might be the only time Hemant Da ever sung for RD).

Going by the lyrics, that song should be regarded as a separate song I think.

I think only R.D.Burman & chorus sung lines are different(i.e.,Kissne dekha hai kal..& mr.who…..) All the other lines of 2 stanzas of both versions are the same.
And according to youtube comments, this is the last song sung by Hemant da and only one song Hamanta da sung song for Rahul Dev Burman
