Lyrics(Provided by Prakashchandra)
main kamsin hoon
naadaan hoon
naazuk hoon
bholi hoon
main kamsin hoon
naadaan hoon
naazuk hoon
bholi hoon
thaam lo mujhe
main yehi iltijaa karoon
main yehi iltijaa karoon
main kamsin hoon
naadaan hoon
naazuk hoon
bholi hoon
thaam lo mujhe
main yehi iltijaa karoon
main yehi iltijaa karoon
hai dil ki lagan
main phool banoo
aur hanske tere
pehloo mein rahoon
tu dekhe mujhe
main dekhoon tujhe
aur pyaar mein
tere kho jaaoon
tu dekhe mujhe
main dekhoon tujhe
aur pyaar mein
tere kho jaaoon
main kamsin hoon
naadaan hoon
naazuk hoon
bholi hoon
thaam lo mujhe
main yehi iltijaa karoon
main yehi iltijaa karoon
jiss manzil kaa
raahi na koi
woh sehraa hai
manzil to nahin
jiss dil mein
koi dhadhkan hi na ho
woh patthhar hai
koi dil to nahin
jiss dil mein
koi dhadhkan hi na ho
woh patthhar hai
koi dil to nahin
main kamsin hoon
naadaan hoon
naazuk hoon
bholi hoon
thaam lo mujhe
main yehi iltijaa karoon
main yehi iltijaa karoon
main kamsin hoon
naadaan hoon
naazuk hoon
bholi hoon
thaam lo mujhe
main yehi iltijaa karoon
main yehi iltijaa karoon

can someone please give me the english translation of the conversation right after this song between saira banu’s character and rajendra kumar’s character? I know he says that he is a worker and she is the boss’s daughter but can’t figure out the rest. It is driving me crazy. Thanks in advance to some kind soul who can give me this info 🙂

‘Aayi Milan ki Bela’ was, I feel, a trend setter of sorts. It was one of the first Hindi movies with a ‘two-brothers-separated-at-birth’ theme. Though Rajendra Kumar was the decent, honest of the two and also the hero of the movie and Dharmendra was the ‘baddie’ in this movie, I remember thinking if I were Saira Banu, I’d have gladly plonked for ‘Garam Dharm’!
By the way, here’s an interesting trivia: In that birthday song, “Tumhe aur kya doo main dil ke sivai…” sung by Saira at Dharmendra’s birthday, as the camera pans the guests at the party, on the walls can be seen beautiful paintings of horses. The artist was a virtual unknown those days. Today, we know him as M F Hussain!!!!

Menon ji,
Aayi Milan ki Bela was ,may be the n th no of film based on brothers separated at birth. This is one of those 7 main themes around which ALL Hindi films revolve from the begining. Not only Hindi but the World Cinema revolves around these basic 7 themes only.
The first such a film was Aawara Shehzada -1933,in which Shahu Modak played the double role of brothers separated at birth(Raajkumar and Bholaram). Then in the 30s,40s 50s,60s,and later decades there were many films on this theme.Remember Raam aur Shyaam ?
