I find that hardly any information is available online about G S Kohli. For instance, I was not aware about his exact year of death till I managed to find out that he had died on 25 july 1996 in Mumbai. For that matter, I have no information about his date of birth as well. I request our knowledgeable readers to tell us about these dates.

Lyrics (Provided by Prakashchandra)
le liyaa
dil meraa
le liyaa
o o
thandi hawaaon mein
ghataaon mein nashaa
aise mein aankhein
naa chhuraao dilrubaa
le liyaa
dil meraa
le liyaa o o
thandi hawaaon mein
ghataaon mein nashaa
aise mein aankhein
naa chhuraao dilrubaa
le liyaa
dil meraa
le liyaa aa o o
be iraadaa nazar
tumse takraa gayee
dil dhadakne lagaa
main toh sharmaa gayee
be iraada nazar
tumse takraa gayee
dil dhadakne lagaa
main toh sharmaa gayee
kaisee ?? hai yeh
meeti meeti beqaraari
pehli mulaaqaat mein
main ho gayee tumhaari
nigaahein muskuraaye
yeh sunaaye faislaa
le liyaa aaa
dil meraa aaaa
le liyaa aa aa
thandi hawaaon mein
ghataaon mein nashaa
aise mein aankhein
naa chhuraao dilrubaa
le liyaa
dil meraa
le liyaa aa
khil rahaa dil meraa
jiss tarhaa/tarhae (yeh) gul-sitaan
ab giraaye jaa tu pyaar ki bijiyaan
khil rahaa dil meraa
jiss tarhaa gul-sitaan
ab giraaye jaa tu pyaar ki bijliyaan
dekho jee khushi se main
deewaani hoke niklee
baagon mein udoongi aise
jaise ude titlee
ishaaron hi ishaaron mein
bahaaron ne kahaa
le liyaa
dil meraa
le liyaa aaa o o
tandi hawaaon mein
ghataaon mein nashaa
aise mein aankhein
naa chhuraao dilrubaa
le liyaa aaa
dil meraa aaa oo
le liyaa aa o o
thandi hawaaon mein
ghataaon mein nashaa
aise mein aankhein
naa chhuraao dilrubaa
le liyaa
dil meraa
le liyaa

Yes, GS Kohli expired in 1996. ‘The Adv. of Robinhood’ may be his best film, though ‘Shikari’ was the most popular. All the songs of Robinhood were classic !! I’ve uploaded all the songs of this film.
Thanks for remembering GS.

He was par excellence. Some of his composition can easily give the so called greats run for their money.

Atulji,
The missing word sounds like
“uljhi di”.
Kaisee uljhi di hai
meethi meethi beqarrari.
Hope it’s right.
