I tried to send the post under Narsi Mehta but was unable to do so because of some error in uploading. I am trying again.
Narsi Mehta was first among poets. He was from naagar Brahmins where more stress is given to education. They are supposed to be scholars in most of the fields.
Another famous poem is jaag ne jadava krishna gowaliya… singing while doing the pooja every morning is a rite of passage for the Vaishnav families
The translation is:
