“Dr Vidya” (1962) was directed by Rajendra Bhatia for Deluxe Films. The movie had Manoj Kumar, Vaijayantimala, Nazir Hussain, Madan Puri, Shivraj, Mumtaz, Manvendra, Sunder, Helen, Prem Chopra, Leela Chitnis etc in it.
The movie had eight songs in it. As many as seven songs from the movie have been discussed in the past.

and what a song to close the movie!!!! the beat and the style of saying “Haan” & “Are” very qawwali like but it is a typical Vyjayanthimala dance. alas the vdo quality is not gr8

It has taken a a mere 9 months to go from 400 YIPPEEEE! movies to 500 YIPPEEEE! movies :). Congratulations Atul ji :).
And yes Dr. Vidya (1962) joins the ranks of movies where all songs from the movie have been discusssed on the blog.

Atul’s Song A Day- A choice collection of Hindi Film & Non-Film Songs

Atul ji,
There seems to be lot of mix up in the number of songs of this film. When i started checking,i found that 7 songs were posed from this film till 3 days ago. The film also showed 7 songs as per HFGK. Therefore I informed you that Dr. Vidya has all songs posted.
Now I find that ,including today’s song,8 songs from Dr. Vidya are posted,while HFGK shows only 7 songs in it.
Further the song-” Yun hans hans kar”-Rafi/Asha,posted on 6-12-2012 and “Main kal phir milungi”-Lata/Rafi,posted on 21-3-2013 are NOT in the HFGK list of Dr. Vidya.
However,Today’s song- Bheegi bheegi aankh pe, is very much included in HFGK..
When I checked other sites all these songs are very much in Dr. Vidya.
This only means that HFGK has goofed up terribly in the number as well as list of songs of Dr. Vidya.
I only hope this is a freak case from HFGK.
