“Duniya Meri Jeb Mein” (1979) was produced by Bittoo Anand and Naresh Malhotra and directed by Tinu Anand for Ira Films. The movie had Shashi Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor, Neetu Singh, Ranjeet,Helen,Nadira,Paintal, Keshto Mukherjee, Sudhir, Pinchoo Kapoor, Raj Mehra, Agha, Lalita Pawar, Jagdish Raj, Pilloo J Wadia, Kishan Dhawan, Ranbeer Raj, Amar, Vishwa Mehra, Agha etc in it.
I regarded this movie as well as its songs as ordinary stuff those days, but I find that even the ordinary music of those days are by now regarded as classics. 🙂
Here is this song that I have by now grudgingly recognised as a great song of its time. The song is sung by Kishore Kumar and Asha Bhonsle and it is picturised on Rishi Kapoor and Nitu Singh. Gulshan Bawra is the lyricist. Music is composed by Rajesh Roshan.

I just love Ashaji`s voice very much in this duet.

Although this was not a RK Film, it was no less. Three of Kapoor khandaan, and one a close family friend. Tinu Anand is the son of Inder Raj Anand, Raj Kapoor’s writer friend (AAH, SANGAM etc.)
