“Raaja aur Rank”(1968) was directed by K P Atma for Prasad Productions, Bombay. The movie had Sanjeev Kumar, Naazima, Kumkum, Nirupa Roy, Ajit, Mukri, Kamal Kapoor, Mohan Choti, Mahesh etc in it.
The movie was inspired from Mark Twain’s story “The Prince and the pauper”.
The movie has six songs in it. The songs of this movie were hugely popular during its time. There were some songs in it that I loved without being aware of the fact that they belonged to this movie.
As many as five songs from this movie have been discussed in the past. Here is the sixth and final song from this movie. This song is sung by Asha Bhonsle and Usha Mangeshkar. Anand Bakshi is the lyricist. Music is composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal.
The song is picturised on Nirupa Roy and Naazima (I hope I have identified her correctly).
