“Pujaari”(1946) was directed by Aspi for Ardeshir M Irani Productions, Bombay. Ardeshir M Irani, the producer of this movie was the director of the First Hindi talkie movie in 1931.
“Pujaari”(1946) had Mumtaz Shanti, Masood, Bipin Gupta, Mustafa, P D Lal, Yashwant Dave, Anita Sharma, Tasneem, Baby Mumtaz (Madhubala) etc in it.
This movie had ten songs in it. Three songs from the movie have been covered in the past.
Here is the fourth song from “Pujaari”(1946) to appear in the blog. This song is sung by Mohantara Talpade. Wali Sahab is the lyricist. Hansraj Bahl, who was making his debut as a music director with this movie, is the composer.
